How to use this consulting invoice template
- Enter your business and client details, then choose a unique invoice number and dates.
- Replace the sample items with the services or products you supplied. Adjust quantities, units and rates.
- Set your currency and taxes, record payments already received, and review the balance due.
- Add payment instructions and agreed terms, then download the PDF and send it to your client.
The sample notes and terms are editable examples. Review them before sending: remove references to attachments, warranties, deposits or fees that do not apply to your work.
Invoicing tips for consultants
- Reference the statement of work or engagement letter in a custom field.
