The short version

Everything you type into Best Free Invoice Generator - business details, client details, line items, logos, signatures and payment information - stays in your browser. We do not upload, store or see your documents.

Local storage

To autosave your work, remember your business details and keep your saved documents and client list, Best Free Invoice Generator uses your browser’s local storage on your device. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings, or with “Forget my business details” and the delete buttons in “My documents”. Clearing browser data will permanently delete saved documents, so export anything you need first (JSON or CSV).

Share links

When you copy a share link, the document is compressed and placed in the part of the URL after the #. Browsers do not send this part of the URL to our server. Anyone who has the link can view the document, so share it only with people you trust. Logos and signatures are not included in share links.

PDF generation

PDFs are generated on your device. No document content is sent anywhere to create them.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are visited. Analytics never include the contents of your documents.
